UNIVERSAL JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION TOY LAUNCH

 

Brief:

To support the launch of the new Jurassic World Dominion movie and toy range at Smyths Toys, Universal asked Backlash to come up with a fun content piece that could achieve YouTube fame and drive strong awareness.

Solution:

We created a mini-movie, using a Smyths Toys store as the backdrop. It had a strong narrative with scientist Dr Smyth asking a group of brave children to help him find the dinosaurs around the store and take them back to the dinosaur sanctuary. We used every part of the store to make the film, from a trampled smoking car and broken glass outside the front, to dinosaur nests and life-size dinosaurs inside.

The reach of the video has helped Universal achieve one of their strongest sales campaigns ever at Smyths Toys
