Backlash was created to provide brands with a new, more progressive creative experiential marketing agency model. We have taken years of experience working for large successful global agencies, across many categories and channels, and distilled them into a unique industry offering.

We offer a wide range of digital experiences to support or lead projects; whether that is theatrical videos, web-based augmented reality, interactive touchpoints or more insightful technology-based reporting, we have it covered.

Backlash is a full service creative experiential marketing agency with all of the in-house functions you would expect to deliver an end-to-end service. Typically, a project will follow a path of strategic consultation, creative concepting, 2D & 3D design, production & artwork development, live event management and project evaluation. Each of these stages are managed by our experienced project management team.

We have sourced sustainable alternatives for all material choices.

All of our vehicle logistics from staff to production have compulsory carbon offsetting.

DISPOSAL

Through careful design, construction and material choices we are able to recycle 99% of our event waste.

Meet the founders

Backlash was created by Katie, Aarron and James to challenge the way agencies work and provide clients with a new and exciting experiential marketing agency model. Creatively we are free-spirited and challenge the status quo, which we pair with commercially focused solutions that are grounded in years of design and activation experience. 

Our passion for this industry has been developed collectively over 40 years’, previously working at leading global advertising, integrated and experiential agencies. This wider marketing experience has allowed us to develop our ‘Big Agency’ approach to any brief of all budget sizes.
